Todays design has been brought to you by a girl on a diet :’D After doing the pink gradient I wanted something fun over it. It had been a while since I did some detailed nail art and I wanted to challenge myself. I went with a design with many lines and my goal was to get them as even and thin as possible, and I’m really happy with how they turned out, even though it took me longer than I’d like to admit. 😉 I hope you like my Candy Nail Art 🙂
My process is to start with the black and create the outline, at this point I’m not doing thin lines, I’m just making sure the outer line is even. I then fill in the shape with a white polish (or go directly in with the color if the polish is opaque enough to cover the black), and leave a thin black line in the outline of my shape. Next is adding the color over the white and when I’m happy with the design I add two coats of top coat to smooth out the design (it gets thick because I use nail polish and not acrylic paint).

I had some inspiration for this design by a screenshot I’d taken aaages ago (the date on the screenshot is 29th of June 2014) on my phone, and even after a reversed image search on Google I can’t find the source, but I’ll add the picture just in case somebody recognizes the design and it’s creator. 🙂
