Today I have something new(ish) from Deborah Lippmann to share with you! Deborah Lippmanns new and improved Gel lab pro polishes (that don’t need a lamp to cure), and I’ve played with the Spring 2016 collection called Afternoon Delight. I’m so excited about this collection! I squeeled when I saw the holo, the new formula is sooo good and I looove the new wide brush!
Get Lucky
First we have this gorgeous grungy blue/gray with a hint of green polish. This is a one coater, but because I can never use just one coat of polish, I applied two in these pictures. It dries a little darker than it looks in the bottle, and out of the four polishes in this collection, this has the best formula! 🙂 I looove the color and I have nothing like it.
Dirty Little Secret
Next is the surprise of the collection! Deborah Lippmann has very few (if any at all) pure holo polishes so I was sooo excited when I saw this one! It’s a greige soft holo with a gold toned holographic elements, and it applied great! I needed two coats and it was completely opaque after that. I love it!
The Pleasure Principle
This color is sooo yummy! It’s a bright lavender/lilac creme and belive it or not this is also a one coater (but you know me I used two in these pictures). I had a hard time capturing the color of this and it’s actually a little more warm than in my pictures, but I looove this color!
Peaches And Cream
This is a pink toned nude peach color, it’s completely opaque in just two coats. This was the first polish I tried and I learned that these polishes need to be applied with care because the formula is thick so to avoid bumps you need a steady hand.
Nail Art
I loved this collection and I wanted to really test the endurance of the polishes. so I decided to wear them for a week to see how they lasted. I very seldom wear polish for that long a time so I created a nail art look using three of the polishes from the collection to help me from getting bored of my nails 😛 I used nail vinyls from What’s Up Nail, the colibri and the chevron stripes.
Deborah Lippmann – Gel lab pro system
Along with the gel lab pro color polishes you should use the gel lab pro top and base coat. The base dries quick and kind of look like rubber, it helps protect the nail but also nurish the nails, so when I removed the polish after a week and my nails were not dry at all, in fact they seemed a little healthier than they did when I applied it (I swear I’m not beeing payed to say this!). The top coat was sooo good! All though it did not smooth out the polish like I would like it to, it dried just as quick as my HK Girl, and stayed shiny and scratch free for an entire 7 days before I removed it.
These polishes (except for the base and top coat) has a new broad brush that is soooo smooth to work with, and this is my favorite brush out of all the ones I’ve tried!
After the 7 days the polish only had slight tip wear, and looked freshly applied! Out of all the gel systems I’ve tried this is by far my favorite, and I really recommend this for people who want their polish to last long.
You can find Deborah Lippmann all over the world, but here in Norway they are available in these shops.
*The products in this post were sent to me for free by the company or their PR firm in exchange for my honest review.

Wow Dirty Little Secret is so gorgeous!
Hololakken ser awesome ut! Og så bra de nye lakkene er med en bred børste! Jeg syns DL sine børster er liiiitt for smale.. 😛
Lovely collection. I think Dirty Little Secret is the most special one, but all the colors are gorgeous!
