Today I have a real treat for you, and I’ve really been looking forward to showing you this post, so hopefully you’ll like it! I just received the Deborah Lippmann – Painted Desert Collection 2015 and I couldn’t wait to play with them. These were just released here in Norway so I assumed it was a fall collection, but I learned that it’s actually the summer 2015 collection. In this case I think the release in Norway is more appropriate, because in my eyes this is the PERFECT fall collection! The colors are so stunning both separate and together, so in addition to the swatches I was inspired to do some fall nail art as well. Hope you like them! 🙂

Deborah Lippmann – Desert Moon

Deborah Lippmann - Desert Moon
A grey creme polish with a hint of green undertone to it. Really easy to apply and it was opaque in two coats. It dries a little darker than it is in the bottle. YES! I love this polish!

Deborah Lippmann - Love In The Dunes
This is the perfect fall color! A purple/brown/grey polish, I needed two thin coats to get it completely opaque, and it’s soooo pretty! This my favorite from the collection, and I really recommend buying this polish!

Deborah Lippmann – Shifting Sands

Deborah Lippmann - Shifting Sands
Shifting Sands is a yellow/sand colored polish. So easy to apply and I really like this for my skin tone. Perfect if you need a palate cleanser every now and then 🙂 I needed two coats to get it completely opaque.

Deborah Lippmann – Terra Nova

Deborah Lippmann - Terra Nova
A mustard colored polish, and a polish I would only wear in the fall. On the nail it looks a little more brown then in the bottle. Like with all the polishes in this collection I neeeded two coats and the formula was great!

I was so inspired by this collection! The colors (like I mentioned) are perfect both separate and together and I wanted to do my first fall nail art using only polishes from this collection. I used Shifting Sands as the base and using chevron shaped nail vinyls I applied the rest of the polishes over. Look how pretty they are together! And with Shifting Sands as the base the colors undertones really stood out. Just look at Desert Moon, it almost looks green! And with this manicure, I’m finally ready to welcome fall! 🙂
