Deborah Lippmann – Summer Collection 2016: Happy Days
This collection ha everything! Gorgeous colors, creamy textures and amazing shine and durability! This is the 2016 summer collection from Deborah Lippmann, inspired by the 60’s and created in the amazing DL gel lab pro formula. I’ll talk about each polish individually below, but over all this is a great collection and definitely a favorite so far in 2016. Great Balls Of Fire is the joker of the collection, in Norway it’s a part of the Happy Days collection, but I haven’t seen it as part of the collection in other countries.
I’m not going to mention formula (except for Great Balls Of Fire) below, because they’re all perfect cremes, and the broad brush makes the application sooo easy.
Deborah Lippmann – Beauty School Dropout
Beauty School Dropout is a dusty pink with a hint of blue in it. It’s adorable, and actually kinda unique (as unique as a pink can get). Two coats with top coat.
Deborah Lippmann – Happy Days
This color is not something I would expect from Deborah Lippmann, and I love it, so bright and fun! It looks a little neon in my pictures (which it’s not). It’s a orangy peach, really pretty! In the bottle it has a small silver flecks, but they are not visible on the nails. Two coats with top coat.
Deborah Lippmann – My Boyfriend’s Back
This blue is gooorgeous! So rich and pretty, and this is the perfect jeans blue. In real life it has a dusty blue look, and I’ll be wearing this one a lot! Almost a one coater, but I used two thin coats top coat in these pictures.
Deborah Lippmann – Splish Splash
This color is so yummy! A turquoise stunning polish that’s perfect for summer! Two coats with top coat.
Deborah Lippmann – Great Balls Of Fire
This one is a little different from the rest of the collection, and that’s probably because it isn’t a part of the collection in other countries. It’s stunning don’t get me wrong, and it was super difficult to photograph. It’s a crelly, but more on the creme side than the jelly side. It’s a raspberry red with really subtle tiny flakes in it.
I love this collection! So fresh and fun, and I’ll definitely be wearing these a lot! 🙂
You can find Deborah Lippmann all over the world, but here in Norway they are available in these shops.
