So excited to share this collection with you! This Fall Essie is taking us to Japan and as they describe it; an electric capital that boasts taste, flair and an uncanny aptitude for mixing fashion metaphors. This collection is everything! Great colors, creamy formula and a vide range of colors for different occations.
ESSIE – Udon Know Me
Udon Know Me is a light and pretty dirty blue with a gray undertone to it. It’s more blue on the nail than it is in the bottle, so just a heads-up if you check it out in a store. I really like this one! Two coats without top coat.
ESSIE – Playing Koi
Now this one was a surprise! Playing Koi is a dark brown with a heavy orange undertone you could almost call it a brick red. I did not think I would like it, but I really do! This is the perfect fall color. You could wear it with just one coat and get some depth in the color, but I prefer two and that’s what I used in these pictures (no top coat).
ESSIE – Now And Zen
Now and Zen is a cold cement gray with a green undertone and just up my alley! Two thin coats with top coat.
ESSIE – Maki Me Happy
Maki Me Happy is a deep red/crimson with a hint of purple undertone. A gorgeous elegant Fall color that looked different depending on the light. A Fall favorite for me! 🙂 Two coats without top coat.
ESSIE – Kimono-over
Kimono-over is a daaark plum polish that almost looks black in some lights. I really like this one for Fall! Two coats without top coat.
ESSIE – Go Go Geisha
Go Go Geisha is a stunning nude polish with a purple undertone. This dusty pink color was perfect for my pasty skin-tone and I’ll definitely be wearing this again soon! Two thin(!) coats without top coat.
These polishes are out in stores now, and I really recommend them all! I’m not sure which one is my favorite, but Playing Koi surprised me and it’s not like any other polish I own.
