Today I have a real treat for you! I was so lucky that I got to help Wenche from Norway Nails when she was picking which MILV Water Decals she was going to start selling in her store. As a thank you for helping her, she sent me some of them to try out. 🙂 Can I just say that these decals are the most exciting thing thats happened in my nail world in a while 😀
Black Roses N221
I tried the Black Roses first and after I put them on I was hooked! If I ever get married, forget free-hand, I’m using a MILV Water Decal! They look so real, and they are absolutely GORGEOUS! I’m just going to let the pictures speak for them selves. But just to give you some facts, I used a white base and finished the look with my Glisten & Glow – HK Girl Top Coat. More about the application is further down. 🙂
Green Roses N182
I tried the Green Roses after I’d tried the Black Roses so the application was super easy the second time around. And these did not dissapoint! Again there isn’t much to say, and the pictures speak for themselves. A gorgeous print that I got so many compliments for. 🙂 I used a white base for this one as well.
The first thing I did was apply a white base and finish it off with top coat and wait for it to dry. I didn’t apply top coat the first time, and that made it difficult to move the decal around on the nail to find the right position.
When the top coat had tried (after about 20 minutes) I cut out the decals to fit my nail shape. Be accurate when you do this because the clean up is difficult with the decals.
I held the cut out with a tweezer and put it in water for about 3 seconds, using my fingers I pulled it off the paper and placed it on the nail, sticking it to the nail in the middle of my nail first.
After I applied the decals when I wanted them, I gently pushed and pressed the decals in place using a q-tip. I sealed the look off with my Glisten & Glow – HK Girl Top Coat.
The decal costs 19 NOK a piece and you can find the Black Roses here, and the green ones here.
I recommend these for both the experienced and inexperienced, because they are easy to apply, and the finished result looks professional.
