The summer has finally reached Norway and with slight tan I managed to get came a sudden craving for NEON nail polish! 😀 Turns out I only have 4 neon nail polishes in my collection, so I used three of them to create a Neon Palm Nail Art look. Hope you like it! 🙂
I used:
OPI – Alpine Snow (white base)
Moyra – No. 64 (Pink)
Moyra- No. 65 (Yellow)
Moyra – No. 63 (Orange)
Sponge from H&M
Vinyl Palm stencils from WhatsUpNails.com
I dotted the neon polishes on with a sponge over a white base and applied top coat. After the top coat was dry I applied the vinyl stencil and dotted some black polish with the sponge in the negative space of the vinyl, and applied a thin coat with the same polish over it afterwards. The reason I used the sponge first was to get crisp lines. I removed the vinyl immediately and applied a new layer of top coat after the black had some time to dry first.
These nails definitely settled my craving for neons, and they were so fun! My nails got a lot of attention while I had them on, because let’s face it, they’re not really subtle, but I only got positive attention so that was good! 🙂 Are you a fan of neons? 🙂
